What it Means to be a Mother, By Diane Keaton

I promise.  I really am writing pieces for this blog, but I’ve also launched a freelancing career which often throws my schedule in a tizzy.  And because fall is my favorite season, I grab a camera whenever the inspiration hits, and run outside to take pictures of the trees in all of their vibrant glory.  One can never have too many pictures of trees.  Or can they?

I never envy anyone.  It’s not my nature as I happen to like myself. But if I could maybe just trade places for a day with anyone, it might be Diane Keaton.

Here is a video of my favorite actress, Diane Keaton, describing motherhood and all that goes with it in her new book, Then Again.  It is a gift to her mother and to her children and her story is compelling, thoughtful and kind.
